Network & Systems Administrator

Job Description:
The Network & Systems Administrator will primarily assist in the design, implementation, and support of clients' network, server, and telecommunication components. The position will perform a variety of evaluation, selection, installation, maintenance, documentation, and training tasks to ensure the infrastructure’s performance meets the company’s and clients' requirements. The position will report to the business owner and may direct the activities of junior level team members.

Job Requirements:

  • BA/BS in IT/MIS related degree or equivalent experience.
  • Individual must be very detail and quality oriented.
  • Individual must possess business acumen and professional courtesies.
  • Individual must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience supporting a business’s network and server environment.
  • Working knowledge of information systems security and IT management methodologies/best practices.
  • Must be proficient and have working knowledge with the following:
    • Personal computer, server, storage, and network hardware & cabling.
    • Windows Servers, Active Directory, Exchange Server, Terminal Server, IIS, print servers, file servers, and virtualization.
    • TCP/IP, firewalls, VPN’s, switches, LAN/WAN, and network security.
    • Backup & recovery hardware, software, and procedures.
    • Telecommunications equipment.
  • Blackberry Enterprise Server experience a plus.
  • Professional Certifications desirable: CCNP, CCNA, CCNE, MCSA and/or MCSE
  • Must be available to work at New Philadelphia office and at customer locations as needed.

Software Developer/Analyst

Job Description:
The Software Developer/Analyst will primarily assist in the design, development, maintenance, testing, implementation, and support of business applications and websites. The position will report to the business owner and may direct the activities of junior level team members.

Job Requirements:

  • MIS, CS, IT related degree, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience developing Web and/or Windows business applications.
  • Individual must be very detail and quality oriented.
  • Individual must possess business acumen and professional courtesies.
  • Individual must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with Windows & Web development tools and languages (Visual Studio, C#, VB.NET, and/or ASP.NET).
  • Database development experience (SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, or Access).
  • Photoshop, Flash, and/or Silverlight experience a plus.
  • Must be available to work at New Philadelphia office and at customer locations as needed.
